Advantages

With proper care, limestone can last for decades. Can be more cost-effective than some higher-end natural stone.

Disadvantages

Some types of limestone are prone to weathering, etching, chips, heat sensitivity, and may not be suitable in wet areas.

Maintenance

Periodically reseal the stone to protect it from staining and etching. Do not use abrasive cleaning pads, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaning products, as they can permanently damage the surface.
